Watching sunrise from the Appalachia trailhead parking lot while waiting for other hikers getting ready.
Guy, JayH and few other hikers started the hike earlier than us via the supposedly scenic Hawker Ridge trail. Hanna, Kea, SpongeBob, Paradox, Chips and Zippy (Paradox's K9 hiking buddies), Bubba, Carol and I would take the easy route to warm up for the long day ahead of us.
