Most of the hikers were staying at the Cherry Mountain Road Campsite, but I decided to book myself a motel room with flushing toilet and no bugs :-)

After stopping by the campsite to check out other hikers' plan for tomorrow, I went back to Moose Brook motel, a cute little place on route 2. As usual, I cannot have a good night sleep at a unfamiliar place. I drifted in and out of sleep and eventually woke up at 3:15 AM and drove to the trailhead around 4 AM.
