Day 3

Well, Altitude Sickness hit Andrew hours before our summit bid. He was panting heavily and then started to vomit, worse of all he felt that his throat was swollen. Tom called off the summit bid and we rested till day break.

Throughout the night I wasn't feeling all that great either. Breathing definitely was hard work. I was gasping for air every turn I made in my sleeping bag. So I ended up resticted my movement to not turning, not sitting up to drink and consequently I was dehydrated, uncomfortable and cold.

The next morning, as soon as I sat up in my tent, I felt a twist in my stomache, and it was my turn to vomit. With 2 sick climbers, Tom asked if we'd like to descend today... Both Andrew and I did not hesistate to say yes.

We'd pack and descent as soon as possible to avoid the traffic.
