The Galvins and I stayed at the Best Western at Tacoma the night before. My room has a great view of the mountain.

The day started up a bit rough... At least that's what Tom thought, because the hot water was broken that morning, and he couldn't take his morning shower. And later when we went to the Denny's for breakfast, the waffle machine was broken... he couldn't has his waffles :-) what a disaster.

I had the biggest serving of breakfast I've ever had in my life, the Denny's Super Slam!! With 2 sausages, 4 pancakes, scramble eggs, hashbrowns and other thing I can't even remembered. I cleaned my plate leaving only 2 pancakes. Immediately I could feel my arteries clogging up :-)
