Pemigewasset Tour - Wednesday November 22, 2006 << Last :: Next > :: Home ::
0map
Trails: Signal Ridge, Desolation, Carrigain Notch, Wilderness, Thoreau Falls, Ethan Pond and Zealand.
Distance: 20 mi.

Today's hike consisted 3 goals, first is to bag Mt Carrigain for Damian #44, second was to visit Dr Miller and Dr Quinn crashed site of 1959, and to tour Pemigewasset Wilderness.

Since this was going to be a long day hike, I stayed at Damian's place in Littleton the night before, so that we could have a 6 AM start and energy for the rest of the long day. We spotted Damian's car at Zealand road trailhead, and took mine to Sawyer River road. We started the hike around 6:15 AM, about 35 degree.

Thin long underwear with shell outside. 2x32 Nelgene, finished last drop on Zealand trail, should bring more. Eaten 3 little Debbie brownies, 2 GUs, ~6 chocolate nuggets, plenty left.
