After a quick breakfast at the motel, we packed up our backpack and headed to REI for some last minute supplies. After lunch at Bellingham, we headed to the ranger station, picked up our blue bags and registered, and headed to the trailhead. Since it's still early in the season, we couldn't drive to the trailhead, instead we had a 1.5 miles road walk to warm up.

We hit the trail around 5 PM, by the time we got to a possible site to call it a day, it was about 8 PM. It was heavily fogged in, we did all the camp chores in the mist, it was pretty cool.

Big tree covered with moss, looks like a giant tarantulas.
