A bunch of us crashed the Mountain House to bring in 2009, and spent the rest of the weekend there. Kim and I decided to hike something smaller today just to get out and do some exercise (nope, I'm not doing the winter list). We decided on Jackson mainly because it is shorter and we saw many cars at the trailhead the day before, hoping that the trail would be broken up. And indeed it was.
