Today's objective is to replace this weathered Katahdin sign with a new one.

I found this worktrip while checking out the MATC (Maine Appalachian Trail Club) website. According to Lester, the leader of this worktrip who also volunteered to make the new sign, MATC replaces the Katahdin summit sign every 10 years, the old summit sign then given to various organization.
