Shortly before the summit, I ran into the second backpacker talking to an older woman. I overheard she warned the backpacker about the appraoching thunderstorm and how the ridge was exposed... I carefully tried to sneak behind the backpacker to avoid the preaching but was unsuccessful. She got me and advised me to turn back. At first I thought I would get annoy and gave her a nasty look, but I was actually feeling kinda warm and fuzzy that she cared about my safety :-).

Anyway, I said nothing just politely thanked her and proceeded to the summit with no intention to turn back. I later found out that she is an Alpine Steward.
