We got back to the trailhead parking lot shortly after 5 PM. Russ and Doug headed over to the Moat Mountain Brewery for dinner. Coincidently Dawn and other people were also meeting there for Dawn's sent off gathering. Dawn will be setting off to hike the whole Appalachia Trail (2174 mi) from Georgia to Maine next month. That's a very impressive undertaken.
