The original plan was to hike up Carter Dome trail to bag Carter Dome first before descending to the Hut, but we got a water situation and needed to head to the hut to defrost Courtney's frozen bladder hose.

Courtney tucked the hose up against her back hoping to melt the ice for a few sips. During the hike, Russ checked in with her to see if that worked, Courtney indicated that it was almost there (or something like that). Russ replied: "That'll be fun explaining to the Fish and Game. Officer, she was almost hydrated."
