According to the WMG this trail is hard to follow, but I suspect someone had taken the time to improve the trail since the book was published. Here was an example, the trail was following a snow mobile road for a while but right here it splits away from the wide snow mobile road into this tiny path, but the trail was very clearly mark. Hikers just need to pay attention.
