Looking toward th esummit from the lake, which was covered with snow.
I was amazed by the amount of snow we had here. I read the trail condition from few days ago, hikers reported that they barebooted to the summit. But today, even with snow shoes on I was postholing about 1' into the snow. What a different a few days and few gust of wind made.
