Whew... After 5 days of hiking, I was so ready to toss my boots out. My legs were covered with mud and bruises. As I told Damian, I am done with hiking for a long time.

This concluded my 5 days of hiking in ADK, surviving the first 3 nights at the Lean-to was a lot harder than the hikings. I admire those AT thru-hikers like my friend Dawn, who have the endurance and determination to carry out the quest. They're the true hiker.
